There’s a place where you can still find all the simple pleasures in life: children’s laughter during a snowball fight, the fire crackling in the fireplace, the crunch of soft snow under snowshoes, the invigorating feel of cold air on your skin, the peace of a walk through a forest among snowy pines, the feeling of speed on the slopes.... this idyllic place is called Bolquère Pyrénées 2000…

…In the heart of the Pyrénées Catalanes Regional Park, perched on the high Cerdan plateau on the GR10 long-distance path, Bolquère Pyrénées 2000 is a charming, unspoilt little village complete with stone walls, slate roof tiles, narrow alleyways, many fountains, a magnificent small church and the highest railway station in France at 1586 metres.
The wooden chalets are a more recent installation above the village but they blend perfectly into the environment and impose their own style. Bolquère Pyrénées 2000 has the most beautiful architectural models in Cerdagne-Capcir.

But Bolquère Pyrénées 2000 is also a ski resort twinned with and linked to Font-Romeu. The resort offers 40 downhill slopes over 58km and 22 cross-country ski circuits.
It is also a wonderful place to practise snow-shoeing, walking and a whole host of other activities.
